Magna 561, the green free-flowing liquid is designed to inhibit corrosion resistance and scale in closed and open cooling water systems. Magna 561 is a chromate-free scale and corrosion inhibitor for use in kin and open circulating coolant systems. Specially developed for processing use in cooling water circuits of cooling towers, motors, compressors and refrigeration equipment. Treatment with Magna 561 will ensure reliable control of corrosion scale and deposits.
The Magna 561 provides good control over even corrosion and pitting corrosion in single-metal as well as multimetallic systems. Magna 561 works effectively over a wide pH range, from 7.0 to 9.0, and normally does not require separate pH control. It controls scale and minimizes the formation of scale on the cooling tower. Magna 561 does not contain chromate or fairly heavy metalsc.
Instructions for use
Magna 561 should be quantitatively added to the coolant where there is a tangled flow to increase the degree of dispersion. It can be loaded directly in a concentrated form or in diluted form.
In most circulatory systems, a minimum dose of 150 ppm (0.15 kg/volume of circulating water) will maintain the ability to control scale and corrosion.
In the early stages of processing, use about 4 times the recommended running dose to create a passive film on the surface. The pH should remain in the pH range of 7.0 - 9.0. However for optimal corrosion control, the ideal pH level is 8. If used for cooling towers, it should be used together with Magna AC or Magna BC biocides.
Apply
With stability and hydrolysis, inhibits scale, inhibits corrosion. Magna 561 can be applied in the following systems:
